Welcome to ClimateBill.org

Welcome!

This blog will compliment my @ClimateBill account on twitter in my coverage of ACES—the American Clean Energy and Securities Act of 2009.  This bill is currently making it’s way through the US Congress.

I’m in the process of finding people to collaborate with me on this project, drop a line to jeremy@climatebill.org

The lovely logo was designed by Valida Prentice a policy analyst and new media specialist at National Wind (a large-scale community wind developer – http://www.nationalwind.com). Thanks, Valida!

Stay tuned for updates!

How much power will the American citizen concede to the Federal Government? This bill creates a false marketplace for “carbon credits”. It is a tax, it will be passed down to every citizen, every consumer. Our Government is out of control, they created a “nanny” state that limits peoples potential many years ago. Starting with social security and so on… The spirit of freedom and liberty is being destroyed. Our fore-fathers would be ashamed. Oh yeah, whatever happened to the Constitution? The bill of rights? I say if they want to institute this new tax, do it first at the state level. Lets see what happens. Say NO to Cap & Trade… Save us from many years of trying to fix our Republic through repealing these un-constitutional mandates from an over-powerful Federal Government that lies to the average citizen to increase its own power over all of US. Is it climate change or global warming? Does it change to suit the argument?
