I gotta say, the implication here that Cap and Trade worked for Acid Rain so it will work to completely transform our global energy supply and stop climate change is pretty much B.S. See this post for a quick explanation of why: “Cap and Trade Worked for Acid Rain, Why Not for Climate Change?”

I want to like this website, but I find it hard to trust a site that says nothing about the writer/owner and spells the name of the Waxman-Markley bill wrong… even though that is the whole focus of the website… Who are you?

Hey windbabe,
Thanks for bringing that up. I put together this site in a hurry as a compliment to my @climatebill twitter account. I just wanted to create a hub for information on the bill.
I’ll add a section to this page about me now. Thanks for bringing up this oversight. My apologies.

To Jesse Jenkins, I see your point on the implication that Cap and Trade will not work for Acid Rain, but I am confused to what you think is the solution. If your toilet has clogged up before and now it has clogged up again, will you keep using it even if you think repair is a waste of time and money? Innovation alone will not be nearly enough, some companies need to be forced to change. At http://www.tlcearth.org we research equipment that uses trash to produce a clean burning fuel(methane), but who really cares? I have learned that most of us do not want to do anything about the mess in our restroom.
